A charming and well conceived European style hotel next to a canal, and in the middle of nowhere, on the outskirts of Samut Songkhran. Good access from the Bangkok highway. Lots of attentive staff, some more experienced than others. We stayed in the Thai House and it was unique, with great views across the resort, and bug free. We ate at The Canal Resteraunt twice, where the menu and food were above average and a nice ambience riverside. We also arranged a boat trip to the Floating Market: in fact Asita is only a 15 minute drive from all the Amphawa attractions.

We originally booked a Thai room but were kindly upgraded to a room backing onto the water. The room was modern/concrete/sparsely decorated but had everything we needed. Loved the monitor lizards swimming past our room :) The property is set in a sizeable garden with some quirky decorations along the river. Upon arrival we were asked to pre-order breakfast. The dish we ordered was large & tasty and came along with a whole tray with fruit, bread, spreads and such. It was more than plentiful.

A great location resort, only 1 hr from Bangkok, surrounded by convenience stores and local restaurants and close to the famous tourist attraction in this town.   Spacious room and comfortable bed made a wonder stay for us.   The canal view was stunning, friendly fishes and the quiet surroundings made it even better. The staff was friendly.  Even through the swimming pool was not too large but it’s cleaned. Highly recommend for those who enjoy the nature!

As a family traveling with young children, we found Asita Eco Resort to be an absolute gem. The eco-friendly surroundings were perfect for our little ones to explore, and the resort is just a short ride from the famous floating market and nearby temples. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and we found some beautiful hand crafted souvenirs in the shop. Highly recommend for families.

The quiet location and natural scenery made my stay unforgettable. The room was well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. The cool breeze from the canal was refreshing. Enjoying my morning tea by the water was the highlight of my trip. The boat trip to the famous train track market and the floating market was enjoyable in deed. Highly recommended.
